Key Features
1,Video Decoding & Camera Testing
The IPC X CCTV Tester uses hardware-based video decoding technology. In H.265 encoding mode, it supports main-stream video testing at up to 8K/24FPS, while in H.264 mode, it supports up to 6K/30FPS.
For coaxial HD cameras, the tester supports automatic identification of AHD, TVI, CVI, and CVBS formats, with support for up to 8-megapixel coaxial cameras.
The device also features an HDMI input for high-definition video signal testing, supporting resolutions up to 1080p@60fps. It can directly replace an external monitor when commissioning DVRs, NVRs, and other video recording equipment.
The IPC X also supports dual-screen display, allowing network cameras and analog cameras to be tested simultaneously.
2,Intelligent IPC Configuration & Troubleshooting
The IPC X adopts advanced full-network-segment IP detection technology, which can automatically change the tester's IP address to match the camera's network segment and automatically launch ONVIF one-click video preview.
The device integrates dedicated tools for major surveillance brands, including Hikvision SADP and Dahua testing tools, supporting functions such as one-click batch activation, batch IP address modification, and customized channel name configuration.
It also supports simultaneous batch preview of up to 32 network cameras.
In addition, the tester integrates customized tools based on private protocols from more than 100 camera brands, covering major manufacturers such as Hikvision, Dahua, Huawei, Uniview, ZKTeco/JOVISION, TVT, Tiandy, TP-Link, and Hanbang Hi-Tech, helping engineers handle different brands of surveillance equipment more efficiently.
3,Network Cable & Cable Diagnostics
The IPC X supports TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) network cable testing, allowing engineers to measure parameters including cable length, attenuation, reflection coefficient, impedance, and delay deviation, with a testing range of 2–196 meters.
The TDR fault-location function supports various cable types, including Ethernet cables, BNC cables, AVVR cables, telephone cables, and RVVP cables, with a maximum testing distance of 1,500 meters.
The tester can clearly display the length and break-point location of each individual wire core, making it easier to locate cable faults during field installation and maintenance.
The enhanced network cable wire-sequence testing function can directly display the connection status of all 8 wire cores and determine whether a fault is located at the main unit side or the remote test box side of the RJ45 connector.
An optional 60V anti-burn cable tracing module is also available, supporting cable tracing on energized and loaded lines.
4,Power Supply & Load Testing
The IPC X provides a standard 48V PoE power output with a maximum power of 25W, compliant with the IEEE 802.3af standard.
It also provides:
Dual DC 12V/3A outputs, suitable for powering surveillance cameras and related equipment.
DC 24V/1A output, suitable for low-power PTZ cameras and non-standard PoE cameras.
USB 5V/2A output, which can be used to charge smartphones and other USB-powered devices.
The device also supports real-time display of 12V, 24V, and PoE power supply load measurements, as well as PSE switch voltage, PoE pinout, and power testing.
5,Fiber Optic Testing
The IPC X supports optional 650nm VFL (Visual Fault Locator) and Optical Power Meter (OPM) modules.
The VFL can be used to identify fiber problems such as bending, breaks, and cracks, while the optical power meter can directly measure optical power and perform relative measurements of fiber link loss.
These functions provide practical support for long-distance surveillance networks and fiber-based security infrastructure.
6,Network Tools & System
The IPC X integrates a comprehensive set of network troubleshooting tools, including:
IP Scanner, Ping, DHCP Server, PPPoE Dial-up, Port Flashing, Link Test, Traceroute, Bandwidth Test, and Socket Debugger.
The device also includes dedicated security engineering tools for recording storage capacity calculation, NVR channel calculation, camera focal-length simulation, and network bandwidth calculation.
The IPC X runs on the Android operating system, with more than 800 system-level optimizations designed specifically to provide smooth playback of surveillance video from different brands and devices.
Users can also install various third-party Android applications according to their requirements, providing greater flexibility for field testing and maintenance.
